Description

The program has been developed in close collaboration with the business community and addresses the needs of modern financial markets and the broader economic sector. It combines academic knowledge with practical experience. Classes are delivered by both academic staff and experienced market practitioners, with the involvement of business partners, and the curriculum reflects the scope of Levels II and III of the CFA Program.

PROGRAMME HIGHLIGHTS

During the program, students develop analytical, managerial and practical skills applicable both in finance and in other areas of business activity, in particular:

  • assess the financial condition of companies based on financial statements as well as micro- and macroeconomic conditions
  • apply corporate finance tools, including taxation, investment decisions and value-based management
  • forecast economic trends and support decision-making processes within organisations
  • evaluate financial market conditions in the context of investment and financial decision-making
  • design investment portfolios and analyse investment and risk management strategies, including derivatives and alternative investments
  • apply advanced valuation methods for companies and financial instruments
  • use quantitative methods and data analysis in complex financial decision-making

The program also covers behavioural finance, legal aspects, corporate governance and ethics in financial activity.

Students gain experience in working on real-world financial problems and develop practical competencies through:

  • case studies and data analysis
  • teamwork and project-based assignments
  • preparing and presenting results and formulating recommendations
  • internships in financial institutions and companies
  • participation in academic clubs
  • international exchange opportunities (Erasmus+)

JOB PROSPECTS

The program prepares graduates not only for analytical roles, but also for managing corporate finance and shaping financial policy within organisations. It develops analytical, decision-making and communication skills that enable graduates to build careers towards managerial positions such as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), in both domestic and international environments.

Graduates may find employment in:

  • corporate finance departments, including large listed companies
  • investment funds and capital market institutions
  • banks and other financial institutions
  • organisations involved in financial market supervision and regulation

in positions such as:

  • financial or investment advisor
  • financial manager or finance team leader
  • roles related to corporate financial management
  • controlling manager supporting managerial decision-making

Eligibility criteria

Diploma grade (max. 75 points)

English language certificate (max. 25 points)

a) CPE, CAE with grade C at least, C1 Business Higher with grade C at least or TOEFL with 94 points or higher, issued within 2 years prior the recruitment - 25 points

b) FCE with grade C at least, B2 Business Vantage with grade C at least or TOEFL with 72-93 points, issued within 2 years prior the recruitment - 15 points

Holders of bachelor or master diploma in any field are entitled to apply.
