Description

Global Studies is an interdisciplinary program designed to provide deep knowledge about the modern world and the complex problems facing humanity. This course enables students to understand global processes, systems and the diverse implications of globalization. It places a strong emphasis on developing critical thinking, problem-solving abilities and communication skills within an intercultural contex all of which are perceived as crucial for professional career development. The program is ideal for motivated and creative individuals who are ready to analyze facts, combine information, draw conclusions, and learn about other cultures. The curriculum is structured around thematic blocks such as: Global Politics, Global Society and Culture, Global History, and Sustainable Development, alongside projects, workshops, and an MA Seminar. This structure ensures flexibility regarding inter-institute cooperation and enriches the content studied. Ultimately, the main goal is to prepare future professionals for careers in business, diplomacy, paradiplomacy, NGOs, and educational institutions.

  • Comprehensive Curriculum: The study program is composed of diverse blocks including Global Politics, Global Society and Culture, Global History, and Sustainable Development, allowing for high flexibility.
  • Analytical Skills: Students develop the ability to analyze global processes from multiple points of view and cross-cultural perspectives, corresponding to the complexity of modern social processes.
  • Focus on Key Challenges: The course offers an in-depth understanding of issues such as environmental justice, security, conflict, migration, and economic or political interdependence.
  • Professional Readiness: The program establishes the communication skills needed to work in a multicultural environment and prepares students to engage as active participants in global society.
  • Diverse Career Paths: Graduates are prepared for employment in diplomatic and local government institutions, global management within corporations, NGOs, media, and the arts.
